Help Us Reach 10,000 Film Makers

Our 400D crowdfunding campaign has officially reached our third goal! This means that we’ll be able to produce our newest film in 35mm, 120, and 4x5 large format. We know we might be sounding like a broken record at this point, but we can’t thank you enough for helping back our 400D campaign and helping us make this new film.

In just over two weeks, your response has shown us that there really is a demand for a new color film. So we couldn't be more excited to be making this film for you all to create with — and we couldn't have done it without your help. We made the call for Film Makers, and you really did show up, with over 9,000 of you helping to make this film a reality.

There are just over 4 days left on the campaign. That means, this is your last chance to pre-order the film before the campaign closes and we move into production. We are so close to 10,000 total backers — and when we get there, we're going to UNLOCK SOMETHING SPECIAL 👀

So if you know anyone that would love to try this film and maybe didn't hear about the campaign or maybe saw it and forgot to act on it right away (we've all been there...), let them know that it's not too late to become a Film Maker and be one of the first to use this new color film!

CAMPAIGN UPDATES:

We still have one early bird level available “EARLY BIRD BRICK OF 400D (10X ROLLS OF 35MM)” which will begin being fulfilled this month along with the other Early Bird levels, so act fast!
4x5 large format 400D tiers were unlocked when we hit 9,000 backers! To pre-order 400D in 4x5, back the “Grandpa Graflex” or the 100 sheet 4x5 level.
A few of the tiers are almost completely sold out and have only a few dozen available. Consider this your reminder.
In case you missed it in the last email, we updated our campaign website to show the designs for our exclusive add-ons for the different Film Maker levels: the Film Maker enamel pin, Film Maker patch, and the JCH "400D Violet" Film Cases. This is what they look like:
We're still running a limited time promotion where you get a free 400D enamel pin for orders containing multiple tiers, while supplies last.
We are beginning the process for moving into production on the next run of 400D (!!!) We still expect to begin fulfilling the first batch of non-early bird orders this summer (hopefully in July).
