Product Details

ADOX was founded in 1860 as the world's first photochemical factory. Over the next several decades, it became one of the leading film producers in Europe. Today, ADOX films, papers, and chemistry are proudly manufactured in Germany by an incredibly passionate team of film photography enthusiasts.

The ADOX Thermometer is the at-home film processing enthusiast's best friend. Whether for film or paper development, color or B&W, it measures temperature precisely and reliably.

Developed for the use in the darkroom, it features a narrow temperature range of 50-120°F. The large display can be read easily under red darkroom light. A glow-in-the-dark needle and marker at 20C is helpful for tray developing sheet film in complete darkness.

The thermometer is made of chemical-resistant stainless steel and is maintenance-free. Unlike glass spirit thermometers, it won't break if dropped. The included stainless steel clip helps ensure a secure hold on developing trays, measuring cups, etc. The 20cm length facilitates measuring the temperature of liquids in tall chemical storage containers.
