After dialing in the normal camera setting I use for scanning, you only need to set it once, after you find the right amount of extension tubes so you can fill the frame and get your focus right. Personally, after I process I leave the film uncut so I can use the Easy35 to scan the whole roll. The best tip I can give is to turn on your camera grid to consistently line up each frame the same way. The film holder keeps your negatives and or slides sturdy.”

Its rich blacks and classic grain give such a cinematic vibe—it instantly reminds me of scenes from old movies. I personally love shooting it at ISO 200 for those softer, brighter tones that feel delicate and timeless. But it’s also awesome when pushed to 800 for low-light shots, and the grain stays surprisingly minimal. When I process it in CineStill’s Df96 Monobath, the results always blow me away—deep contrast, fine details, and so much character.
